At MIPA we offer a range of opportunities!
OUR SATURDAY THEATRE SCHOOL:
we offer classes on a Saturday in Wombourne including:
MOVERS (1-2) – General baby class in ballet and theatre dance (12:30pm-13:00pm)
MINIS (3-5) – Musical theatre class introducing simple technique and performance opportunities (9am-10am)
MAINSTAGE (6+) Musical theatre class introducing more in depth technique and regular performance opportunities and professional workshops. (10am-12:30pm)
1-1 Singing and Acting tuition!
We offer bespoke 1-1 tuition for both young people and adults. These can be either singing or acting (or both!) With experienced teachers that are DBS checked, and have knowledge of technique and development. These 1-1 sessions are also under our LAMDA pathway scheme. MIPA students enrolled onto our Saturday school receive 20% off our LAMDA tuition packages! LAMDA exams are an incredible way to not only develop a young persons confidence but also to improve their skills and knowledge in either singing or acting and provide them with real qualifications that are recognised globally and carry UCAS points!
WORKSHOPS AND SUMMER CAMPS!
At MIPA we offer workshops and summer camps to both give students additional performing arts tuition and to help parents out during school holidays with affordable rates. A typical one day workshop is 9am-3pm and costs £40 and a 5 day summer camp is 9am-3pm Monday-Friday and costs £200. Students enrolled onto the MIPA Saturday membership receive 20% off both our one day workshops and our summer camps.
PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS
Our professional workshops are only available to our enrolled MIPA students as they take place during usual session time. At MIPA, we guarantee one professional workshop per term! An example is our WICKED workshop, where we have a dancer from the movie coming in to teach our students some routines and hold a Q&A!
MIPA TRIPLE
MIPA triple is our audition based group for 14+. This group competes in competitions and receives 3 in depth training hours a week in singing, acting and dancing. We offer self tape support, regular headshots and SPOTLIGHT representation for an additional fee for anyone in this group! Contact us to find out our next audition date.
